bread

Jonny wanted to learn how to make this bread recipe that his mom makes at holidays and such.
It turned out great, and made amazing french toast the next day. Jonny really can do anything.
 (except make cake....his cake had a LOT of  eggshell in it)

Lincoln was helping Jonny in the garage today. Here he is getting a welding lesson.

It wasn't super pretty...but those two pieces of metal were good and stuck together!

ian is a dry boy

 This sweet little man is learning not to pee in his pants. he had been wearing regular underwear
since saturday. We have 2 whole days of no wet pants! not including overnight.
We have a gum ball machine that he gets to turn put a coin in and turn the crank....and get a jellybean !(they fit in the gum ball machine) he will tell me he needs to go potty, and if he tries and nothing happens he'll say "pee pee empty....need drink more water.....get candy" he is working the system.
Who cares! it will save me so much time and money to have a dry boy. I cant wait to see what this next few weeks holds...im hoping for lots of dry undies.

new year

We had a nice visit in indiana for Christmas. It snowed SEVERAL inches so we got some awesome sledding in. Lincoln and Ian really liked sledding...but olivia loved it. I was shocked at how fearless she was. Its been freezing here. Jonny checks the flag on the outdoor skating rink in our town daily, but it is still red:( soon, im sure. I got all my decorations put away and am ready for a fresh new year! such a good feeling, I even started planning my "garden" yesterday.
