wow. ian has 7 teeth, has called me muh muh a few times, and eats solid foods. he is growing up so fast.
liv has been selling girl scout cookies like a champ, and is working on her science fair project...she will be finding the best formula for silly putty.
last week linc and i were working on reading and he read a few simple words to me. cat, fat zoo, things like that..the is a smart, sweet, lively boy.
we were eating dinner and liv said mom, we are having dinner way to early...the sun hasn't set.
i was excited to inform her that it was the normal time we eat dinner...the difference is  Spring is finally around the corner. 'bout time.

martin luther king jr day was yesterday. npr was playing the I have a dream speach on one of its programs. we were in the car on the way to go bowling and olivia would recite along with parts of it. we discussed how martin luther king jr. may feel if he was alive today... what he would think about the progress we have made.
liv said, oh i think he would be really really happy. but mom he can probably see it all. he is watching us right now, im sure he is with jesus, looking down on us.

oh ian. what happened.
ian has stopped sleeping. I am so tired.
im not sure what is happening...but i really hate it.
he is pretty happy during the day, naps some and then goes to bed at his normal time.
but then, at midnight he wakes up and cries and squirms and cant relax.
and some nights is up until after 3.
i am so tired.

Olivia got some new glasses this week. She is still getting used to them...but says she can see much better. I just wish they would stay on her face better. Any ideas? She tried out her new science experiment book that she got for christmas, she loves making huge messes doing experiments. and i love watching her learn new things....like who knew that putting sugar in water would make a grape float....not me.

Wow. 2011. this warm weather (one day of it anyway) and sunshine has me really ready for spring. So already this new year Lincoln learned how to blow a bubble with his gum. He can get them pretty big. I came really really close to beating Jonny at pinochle....twice. Ian is eating solid foods officially. And Olivia watched Labyrinth for the first time....in awe...2 inches away from the movie screen.
