okay so this clip is very short, but just notice lincolns body as he watches liv wii boxing.
olivia has been doing a lot of elephant pictures latley. Here is her elephant series.

olivias story...

Once there was a little girl, her name was sophia. She lived in the mountains with her dad.
One day they heard a scratch scratch scratch at the door....it was a kitty. They kept the kitty.
Then they heard another scratch scratch scratch at the door...it was a dog. They dad said, "we do need a dog". So they kept the dog. Then they heard another scratch scratch scratch at the door....it was a sheep. They decided to keep the sheep. Then the sheep had babies, lots of them.
Then there was a sheep race and all the babies ran in the race with thier mamma. And they were so fast that they ALL won the race...they were very fast, fast as rockets. But the momma did not win because she was not as fast, but they gave her a medal anyway because all her babies did so well. the end.

So...thank you to everyone who helped out with the newborn kits. They have been shipped to the humanitarian services in Salt Lake and will be blessing some sweet babies very soon. I am starting a new project that is more Long term. Making Bags for the school kit. If anyone wants to sew with me and get as many of these done as possible, that would be great! My goal is 50. Then in 6 months when all the really good deals on school supplies come around we can fill them! Here is the link for the pattern and such http://www.ldsphilanthropies.org/humanitarian-services/patterns/service-project-guidelines.pdf. Just page through untill you find "school kit"
thanks.
p.s. I can serge them all for you guys after you are done sewing if you want. Because I figured out how to thread the serger! Thanks grandma!

I know. Im sorry. Wow we have been having some serious weather around here. It has been below zero the past couple nights...and days for that matter. So jonny decided to make an ice skating rink on our patio in the back yard. It worked quite well. We own no skates so we just slid around on our feet...even the dog joined in. Against her will of course. I think Lincoln loved it the most. He fell alot but would get so upset if I tried to hold him up, he just wanted to do it on his own. Olivia is off school on monday so we have a long weekend together. We were playing time machine(the cabinet under the sink was the time machine) yesterday and she named several different places she wanted to travel to. Dinosar time (inspired by her most recent zoo book), back to see her and elleigh play when they were little, the year 2008, and also back to meet martin luther king jr. Jonny pretended to be him and was giving a speech. When she got "back" I asked her if she had talked to martin luther king...she said "no, I was way to scared to talk to him"...I can imagine it would be a little intimidating.
We made some cookies yesterday. Olivia alway gets a little carried away with the sprinkles and such....which assures that she has them all to herself i guess.
