poor ian

Poor Ian has been sick since monday.
He never really goes anywhere except our house and outside and nursery....im guessing he got it from nursery. Dear parents at church, Its okay to stay home if your kids have had the stomach flu that week. You dont need to bring them to church. He has been throwing up and had a bad fever, he is so miserable.  The doctor said wait another 24 hours and if stil no relief bring him in.

random things

*went to the kids schools "fun fair" it wasn't that fun (for me). But the kids had fun
here is lincoln who requested a giant face tattoo of a snake....of course. Below is them petting a parrot
the theme was pirates. linc tried to pet its face. the parrot tried to bite lincs hand.

*Olivias school has a ukulele check out program, after a serious bake sale and some
grants, they bought several and the kids are learning how to play. Because of guitar liv can read the chords and tabs and has been having fun playing it. The sound is so pretty.
And below is my pretty new sideboard. Im loving it and it was only 40 dollars on craigslist.

jonnys root beer

Jonny's most recent batch of root beer finally got the perfect "fizz" to it. He brews it with yeast in the bottle, so its been a bit of a process to get it right....now perfecting the flavor.

nora likes apples

Ian was done with his apple, so he gave it to nora. Under close supervision she went to town,
she has so many little teeth she chomped it with ease.

riding a turtle

I took the two oldest kids to a program at the library last week. The kids loved it!  I sometimes think my kids are kind of horribly behaved. But after the 2 hour program at the library, I realized they are really pretty good. There were only 3 rules and some of those kids there just could not listen or sit or be quiet. Linc and Liv sat quietly and raised their hands and listened....and as a result lincoln got to ride on a giant tortoise. Its far away but thats Linc riding a turtle in the picture, it was faster than I thought it would be. Liv got to hold and pet several giant snakes and creepy crawly things, as did lincoln.
